South Sudan to face Egypt in AfroBasket qualifier

South Sudan will be facing Egypt in the fourth game at the FIBA AfroBasket 2021 Qualifier later in the day.
The girls registered a narrow defeat of 52-65 against Rwanda yesterday.
They suffered a massive blow in the opening match against neighbours Egypt on Monday after they lost 65-95. On Tuesday, a hope to secure points against Kenya also slipped though narrowly after the team registered a loss of 48-66 making a tie against Rwanda a ‘must win’.
The tournament is for the qualification for the forthcoming FIBA Afrobasket 2021 set to be played in Rwanda.
South Sudan Basketball Federation (SSBF) lauded the team for making it to the maiden tournament and flying the flag of the country.
