The police have warned that vehicles and motorcycles with no number plates or proper documentation will henceforth be impounded.
In a statement shared by the South Sudan National Police Service on Friday, the law enforcers manning traffic have been firmly instructed to weed out non-compliant motorists and ensure that they face the law.
‘‘The South Sudan National Police Service has observed with concern that many road users are driving vehicles and motorbikes without number plates or with one number plate and others cover their plates number, more especially motor vehicle drivers.
‘‘This order is to inform the general public that the traffic police are directed to crackdown and impound any vehicle or motorbike without legal documents or plates number and legal measures will be taken accordingly,’’ statement read.
