Malong Ring, a South Sudanese international referee, has been named by the Central and East African Football Association (CAF) Secretariat to officiate a game between Simba SC of Tanzania and Red Arrows FC of Zambia.

Both Simba SC of Tanzania and Red Arrows FC of Zambia will be locking horns in the Cup 2021/2022 Total Energies CAF Confederation qualifiers on November 28, 2021, in Tanzania at Dar El-Salaam National Stadium.

Ring emerges as one of the finest South Sudanese international referees to represent the country in different CAF and FIFA competitions.

Malong Ring was assigned together with one of the Ugandan International Referees to officiate the Simba SC and Red Arrows FC match by the CAF for their fine game judgment.

It was the third time he had been called for the international game by the CAF, thanks to Ring himself for his brilliant performance.

In July 2021, Malong Ring officiated at the 2021 CECAFA U-23 Challenge Cup tournament in Bahir Dar, Ethiopia.

On the South Sudan Football Association Facebook page, the administration thanked Mr Ring for his call from CAF, saying the association was happy and wished him good luck.

“The entire administration is happy and proud for your call, we wish you all the best during and after the match,” the statement reads on its official Facebook Page.
