Igga out to tighten bilateral relation between South Sudan, India

The Vice President of Economic Cluster, Dr James Wani Igga is in India to participate in two day Cll-EXIM Bank Conclave on the India-Africa project partnership.

According to the Indian media, the country’s Spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs, Igga’s visit would deepen the bilateral ties between India and South Sudan.

‘‘Warm welcome to Vice President James Wani Igga of South Sudan on his arrival in India for participation in the CII-EXIM Bank conclave,’’ the minister said in a tweet.

The CII-EXIM Bank Conclave on India Africa project partnership is scheduled to take place between July 19-20, where both countries, India and African countries will have the session on different topics under themes like “Building financing partnership with Africa,’’ ‘‘strengthening value chains in agriculture and food processing sector’’ and many more.

The event was launched in 2005 with the support of external affairs and the ministry of commerce and industry, the Government of India noted, according to the CII-EXIM Africa conclave’s official website.

It said that the level of economic engagement between India and Africa had gone multi-dimensional to reflect the changing contours of this dynamic relationship.
