The Chief Security Officer in the office of the Governor of Central Equatoria State, Emmanuel Baiga has died. Baiga perished in an accident along J1 road this morning, according to the office of Governor Emmanuel Adil.

“It is with profound sadness to announce the demise of our very chief of the security detail in the office of the Governor (CES) who succumbed to fatal injuries from a car accident along J1 road,” read the statement from the office of the governor.

The office of the governor said it was ‘‘deeply saddened by his demise’’ and appreciated his duties describing him as ‘‘a professional, jolly and sociable.’’

“He has been discharging duties throughout his designated security detail assignment in the office of the Governor professionally,” the statement continued.

Details of the incident are yet to be confirmed as the Spokesperson of the Governor, Derick Derickson, could not answer phone calls. However, the statement shared by the gubernatorial press showed that further communication about further arrangements would be issued soon.
