Egypt offers scholarships to South Sudan students
South Sudanese citizens have until the end of June to apply for a fully funded scholarship by the Egypt government.
The scholarship will be provided by the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology.
Upto 300 slots are up for grabs, with 250 being allocated to undergraduate courses, while 50 are for post-graduate students.
The ministry has said that the applicants should hold South Sudanese citizenship, at least a high school diploma or its equivalent, a valid passport and a copy of the birth certificate.
“It is noteworthy that this scholarship is comprehensive, covers tuition fees, food, medical insurance, accommodation, as well as a monthly allowance of (1,000) Egyptian pounds, and a return ticket to the country after graduation,” read the statement.
