“In my dreams, I want to see myself at the next level, better than I am now, and, more significantly, I want to see South Sudan at the next level, where other countries fear and respect us when it comes to women’s football.”
Deborah, who is 19 years old, is optimistic that South Sudanese women’s football will soon reach a new level.

According to her, South Sudanese females have talent and a bright future in football if they are given the necessary support by the government and other well-wishers.
She said it was not too late for the country to help the women’s sports industry.
“What matters is that you establish a standing for doing good in your country, which will make everyone proud.”
“My advice to other female football players is to keep working hard, believe in yourself, and never give up. Ignore the naysayers who tell you that you’re wasting your time. You are not squandering your time. It’s all about what you believe in. You’re capable of more, “she said.
Deborah said there is nothing easy in this world, adding the world’s most successful people are those who work hard.
