Brighton clobbers Man United as Chelsea drops points against Wolves
Manchester United suffered a serious drubbing in the hands of Brighton & Hove Albion with the Red Devils shipping in four goals in just a span of one hour.
The Red Devils were aiming to build on their 3-0 humbling of Brentford last weekend when they bounced back from a 1-1 draw after suffering a 3-2 defeat to Arsenal. However, the tides proved to be too strong at Amex Stadium on Saturday evening. Moses Caicedo opened the scoring in the 15th minute before Marc Cucurella fired a second goal in the 49th minute.
Pascal Grob scored a third in the 57th minute before Leandro Trossard made it four for the hosts to finish the game on a high. Chelsea gave away a comfortable 2-0 lead against Wolves at Stamford Bridge. Francisco Trincao and Conor Coardy scored a goal each to cancel Romelu Lukaku’s brace to enable their side share points with Chelsea.
