Adil makes changes at Yei County legislative assembly
The Governor of Central Equatoria State, Emmanuel Adil Anthony, has appointed five members to the reconstituted Yei River Legislative County Council and revoked the appointments of five other members.
In a gubernatorial decree, Governor Adil appointed Malish John Peter as a policy advisor to the governor, Morgan Bakhiet Lukak as a technical advisor to the State Ministry of Animal Resources, Fisheries and Tourism, and Samuel Modiyang Lomurie as an advisor to Juba Special Economic Zone. He further appointed members to the Reconstituted Yei River County Legislative Council. They include Stella Gune Martin, Khamis Noah Kisanga, Nicholas Jau Loyandu, Estalla Gbweyima and Joyce Dawa Joseph.
Governor Adil further issued another Gubernatorial Decree revoking the appointment of members of the reconstituted Yei River County Legislative Council, among them, Mama Hawa Adams, Clement Beneth Taban, Bonju Victor Joel, Peter Silas and David Taban Melado.
All the governmental decrees come into effect on Friday, April 15, 2022.
